Sarah Cox is an award-winning author and journalist. In 2022, Sarah won the Science Media Centre of Canada and the Canadian Association of Journalists’ Award for Environmental & Climate Change Reporting. In 2021, Sarah’s investigative reporting for The Narwhal garnered the World Press Freedom Award and the Canadian Journalism Foundation’s Jackman Award for Excellence in Journalism. Sarah also shared a 2021 Gold Digital Publishing Award with her colleagues at The Narwhal and previously won two Western Magazine Awards.
Sarah’s articles and opinion pieces have appeared in numerous publications, including the Vancouver Sun, Ottawa Citizen, Reader’s Digest, Georgia Straight, the Tyee, and BESIDE. Sarah is also a frequent guest speaker for podcasts, radio shows, conferences and webinars.
Sarah is based in Victoria, B.C. She is grateful to live and work on the territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples.
